Opera Error console Autoclose

I have prepared an AutoHotkey script which is able to close the error console automatically. The delay is small - you will only see the console 'flickering' for a fraction of a second. Memory usage is fairly good as well - not greater than 3MB. I distribute the script as an executable (for Windows). No installation needed.

Usage

Unpack the archive to the folder of your choice and execute the at-opera-err.console-autoclose.exe file. It will start hidden - you will not see any windows or icons.

Important! If you are using a non-english interface make sure to place the file inside your profile folder (opera:about, Paths, Opera directory). Otherwise it will not work.

As the script is not able to tell whether the error console has been opened by the user or by Opera itself, you have to press and hold the ` key (accent, usually under the tilde) in order to open the console!

Download

Opera Error console Autoclose (221 KB)

Changes since the last version

The script now reads the locale file to determine the window's title.

Tips

Add a shorcut to the script to Autostart.

You can find script's statistics (information about the number of closed console windows) in the at-opera-err.console-autoclose.ini file.
